L E S L E E   A N N E   T R O T T E R

A Kansas City native multimedia artist. 

 A creative all my life, however I began professionally as a photographer, studying at the Art Institute in Denver. There I melded together my love for adventure, nature and art into one, pursuing a career as an adventure, travel, sports photographer. Through the years behind a camera and computer editing, I felt I needed more exploration into the more tangible arts and thus I began painting. I was most taken with pen and ink with watercolor. I felt a great desire and need to take my deep emotions from within and convey them into an abstract form onto paper. Something unlike that of capturing with a camera, an emotion not reality. I realized that was the art I most desired on my own walls, so I delved in. I am constantly filled with visions of creations and working to express new ways to create, hence why no one medium is enough in my life. Art for me is exploratory and never finite. It is my journey, a story to share.
